One of many green spaces at Queen’s Wharf Brisbane, this heritage park will provide pedestrian linkages through the precinct and stunning views of the Brisbane River.
Miller Park will connect William Street to Queens Wharf Road with landings in between, providing grassy terraces and large shade trees.
Elevator access will be available from William Street via a timber deck that will serve as both an outdoor viewing platform and connection to the Aboriginal and European heritage centre.
Located between the former State Library and The Commissariat Store, Miller Park is named after the first Commandant of the Moreton Bay Penal Settlement, Lieutenant Henry Miller. It was declared parkland in 1980 due to its historical significance as the main point of access to the Moreton Bay Penal Settlement.
