Over the next few months’ work activity will become increasingly prominent and some of the key activities you will notice include:
Scaffolding of the Executive Building (100 George St) from mid-March to mid-May
Scaffolding of the former Neville Bonner Building (75 William St) from end-March to mid-April
Scaffolding of 80A George Street from end-March to mid-April
Installation of fixed hoarding around the construction work area from mid-March to mid-April
Scaffolding of Margaret Street overpass (structure connecting 80A and 80B George St) Easter long weekend 13 April to 18 April (approval pending)
Scaffolding of 80B George Street from early-May to mid-May
Subject to relevant government approvals, hard demolition starting on:
the Neville Bonner Building – from late April
Executive Building and Annexe – from early-May
80A George Street – from mid-June
Margaret Street overpass – July (5 weekends requiring Margaret Street off ramp closure)
80B George Street – from mid-July.
At all times construction notices will be issued for work occurring outside the project footprint (fenced area) or outside normal construction hours (Monday to Saturday 6:30am to 6:30pm).
