Temporary lane closure for material load-out on George Street

From 2 August 2021 for four weeks, works will be required for removal of non-heritage material from the Printery Building. A temporary loading bay will be established on George Street for material load-out.

When:

From Monday 2 August 2021 until late August, works will be required between 6.30am and 4pm Monday to Friday (pending weather and site conditions). A section of the George St will be required as a temporary loading area.

Where:

Material load-out will occur at the Printery Building located at 110 George St, adjacent to the Treasury Hotel. A temporary loading bay for material will be set up on George St. The footpath extending in front of the Printery Building will be closed to pedestrians, however access will be maintained to the post box.

What to expect:

At times, near neighbours may experience some noise from the material being loaded into trucks.

For motorists, there will be traffic control in place throughout the duration of works. Brief holds will be required when trucks are entering or exiting the loading area.

The footpath will also be restricted on the river side of George St nearest the Printery Building.
