Temporary footpath closure on George Street

From Monday 1 August 2022 a temporary footpath closure on George Street adjacent to the Treasury Hotel will be required while works to upgrade the pavement and street scape commence.

When:

From Monday 1 August 2022 for six weeks the footpath outside the Treasury Hotel will be temporarily closed to accommodate works to upgrade the pavement and street scape on George Street. Direct access to the Treasury Hotel and The Lab will still be available from the George Street and Charlotte Street intersection.   

Where:

The footpath will be temporarily closed on George Street from the Integrated Resort Development to the entrance of the Treasury Hotel, extending to Stephens Lane (refer to map).

What to expect:

The temporary closure will involve the following:

• A temporary footpath closure adjacent to the Treasury Hotel
• Construction noise during approved work hours from 6.30am to 6.30pm
• Increase in construction workers and machinery in the area.
