Temporary footpath closure to part of George and Alice Streets and night works for mobile crane mobilisation

From Monday 26 September 2022 for 2 weeks, a temporary pedestrian detour from 6.30am to 6.30pm will be required to remove a temporary structure.

Night works from 30 September 2022 for 2 nights to allow for mobile crane mobilisation.

When:

From Monday 26 September 2022 for 2 weeks between 6.30am to 6.30pm, a small section of George and Alice Street footpaths will be temporarily closed to pedestrians to allow the demolition and removal of a temporary structure. (see map)

Night works are scheduled on Friday 30 September 2022 and 1 October 2022 from 12.00am and 4.00am for mobile crane mobilisation to site.

Where:

• George Street footpath between The Mansions and Alice Streets
• Part of Alice Street Footpath between George and William Streets (see map).

What to expect:

Appropriate diversion signage will be in place for footpath users during this time with temporary pedestrian routes shown in green on the site map.
