Night Works: Drill piling works adjacent Bicentennial Bikeway, within the construction site

From Tuesday 19 September to 18 March 2024 piling operations will be carried out at night-time between the integrated resort and Bicentennial Bikeway, underneath the Riverside Expressway. Bikeway access will be maintained.

When:

From 19 September to 18 March 2024 works will continue under the Riverside Expressway within the construction site. Work hours will be between 5.30pm and 5.00am Monday to Friday.

Where:

Works will be taking place under the Riverside Expressway within the existing fenced construction site between the integrated resort and the Bicentennial Bikeway.

Access for bikeway users along the Bicentennial Bikeway will not be affected. No changes to traffic conditions.

What to expect: 

The William Street and Miller Park works will include:

• Workers and vehicles including trucks, entering, and exiting the site at various times
• Engine noise from piling equipment when operating – note all piling works are a drilling operation does not involve impact pile driving
• Occasional hammering on steel and handheld power tools
• Portable lighting directed at work areas.
