Closure to Alice Street footpath between George and William Streets

From Monday 21 November 2022, a temporary pedestrian detour will be required on Alice St between George and William Streets for construction works.

When:

From Monday 21 November 2022 to June 2023, Alice St footpath will be closed to pedestrians for construction works and load-out of trucks. The temporary closure will be in place for around 7 months.

Where:

• Alice Street Footpath between George and William Streets righthand side heading outbound (see map).

What to expect:

Appropriate diversion signage will be in place for footpath users with pedestrian routes shown in green on the site map. Street parking on Alice St between George and William Streets will no longer be available.
