Accolades roll in for Queen’s Wharf and The Star Brisbane

Brisbane is hot right now and even before the doors open on Brisbane’s most anticipated development in August, accolades from far and wide are rolling in.

Just this month The New York Times marked Brisbane as a must-do destination showcasing the opening of Queen’s Wharf, the restoration of our heritage buildings, the Sky Deck and public spaces as a ‘face-lift’ for the city – 52 Places to Go in 2024, Brisbane (#39).

CNN Travel lists The Star Grand hotel as one of its ‘Sexiest new hotels for 2024’ noting it is true to its name of grand. But its not just international accolades that have been making Queen’s Wharf proud, there’s a number of interstate praises that shine a light on how Queen’s Wharf and The Star Brisbane are changing opinions of the river city.

Australian Financial Review has noted Queen’s Wharf as ‘eye catching’ with The Star Grand’s two arc-shaped towers and Leisure Deck as standout features. With its 340 luxury rooms all with their own unique views of Brisbane, and 5-star service, The Star Grand will be the place to stay for locals and tourists alike come August – Seven Luxury Hotel Openings to Look Forward to in 2024.

The Weekend Edition’s showcasing of the suite of dining experiences that The Star Brisbane will offer is worth a mention. A handful of the mouthwatering array of restaurants and bars are showcased including The Star’s established culinary experiences Fat Noodle, Cucina Regina, and Cherry bar. However, visitors will be drawn to the open air bar Cicada Blu at the centre of the 100m above street level Sky Deck and the accompanying restaurants Babblers all day dining, and Aloria which will redefine destination dining- Brisbane’s Most Anticipated Openings.
