Stephens Lane to close to pedestrian and vehicular access

From 21 June 2021 Stephens Lane will be closed for vehicle and pedestrian access. It will reopen as a walkway in late-2022 with the integrated resort development.

When:

From Monday 21 June 2021 until late-2022 Stephens Lane will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian access, becoming a construction zone for heritage building works and resurfacing.

Where:

Stephens Lane is a oneway, single lane positioned alongside Treasury Hotel (Land Administration Building) between William and George Streets (see attached map).

What to expect:

The entrance and exit of Stephens Lane will be closed to public access. Construction and delivery vehicles will access part of the lane under traffic control from time to time. In late-2022 when the integrated resort development opens, the lane will reopen to public access as a footpath.
