Night Works: Temporary footpath closures on George and Alice Streets

From Monday the 29 August 2022 for approximately 5 nights, George and Alice Streets footpaths between Margaret and William Streets will be temporarily closed for night works. The footpath works will be conducted concurrently and will remain open as walkways from 7am-7pm.

When:

From Monday 29 August 2022 until 2 September 2022 between 7pm to 7am, George and Alice Streets footpaths; and adjacent parking lane between Margaret and William Streets will be closed to pedestrian access for construction of site hoarding works.

Where:

George Street boundary between Margaret and Alice Streets; and Alice Street boundary between George and William Streets (see map).

What to expect:

The works on each footpath boundary and adjacent parking lane will be occurring concurrently. Appropriate diversion signage will be in place for footpath and road traffic users during this time with temporary pedestrian routes shown in green on the site map.

Delta’s approved out of hours works are Monday to Friday 07:00pm to 07:00am.
