Has an additional casino been built in Brisbane as part of the development?

No. As lead consortium partner, The Star Entertainment Group’s existing casino licence will be leveraged, negating the need for an additional casino licence. The Star Brisbane replaces the Treasury Casino which closed on 25 August 2024.
