What payments are being made to government?

There are payments of $272 million to be made to the state government by the time the integrated resort complex opens. This reflects payments for the gaming licence, fees, leases and land, but should also be read in context of the overall project scope. In particular, the investment in public realm and other public areas is included in the total development costs for the integrated resort development. Destination Brisbane Consortium will also make minimum guaranteed state gaming tax payments to the state government of $880 million in total over the first 10 years of operation.
