Queens Gardens

Queens Gardens (also known as Queens Park) is the Brisbane CBD’s foremost historic urban park. Designed as a high-functioning urban area, Queens Gardens will continue to offer green space that will provide the public with an inner-city open place to visit and unwind. It will also have the flexibility to be activated for events, festivals and a range of other uses.

Established in 1905, Queens Gardens is situated at 144 George Street, in between the Treasury and Land Administration buildings.

Designed as a high-functioning urban area, Queens Gardens will continue to offer green space that will provide the public with an inner-city open place to visit and unwind. It will also have the flexibility to be activated for events, festivals and a range of other uses.

Positioned under Queens Gardens, Queen’s Walk will be a new pedestrian walkway through a retail area that will provide seamless flow between Elizabeth Street and the integrated resort.
