Nestled in the heart of Brisbane at Queens Wharf Brisbane, Fan Land is a free, outdoor, inclusive and infectiously entertaining venue to watch all things sport. It’s the home of hot takes, thrilling tries, epic encounters, festive food, epic entertainment and endless experiences.

Fan Land brings the energy of the stadium to the Leisure Deck at Queens Wharf Precinct, offering all the gripping atmosphere without the cost or queues. You’re not here to simply watch the game, you’re here for live halftime shows, in-game competitions, interactive experiences and stadium-style callouts.

A cinema screen made only for sport

At a whopping 9m x 5m, this 350inch LED screen is the largest outdoor sports screen in the city, delivering crisp, high-definition coverage of every tackle, try, celebration and replay. There are no nosebleed seats or out-of-view angles. With a screen designed for optimal visibility, everyone is guaranteed the best seat in the house.

What is Fan Land?

Fan Land at the Leisure Deck is an immersive live spectacle where the energy of the game meets the thrill of performance. Unlike a sports bar or stadium seat, you’re in the heart of the action, surrounded by dynamic entertainment, interactive experiences, and up-close moments with surprise special guests. From high-energy performances to surprise hype moments, every second is designed to make you feel like you’re part of the show.

When will Fan Land take place?

Fan Land will be held at Queen’s Wharf Brisbane, Leisure Deck on level 7 from Thursday 1 May to Sunday  4 May 2025. Opening hours are as follows:

Thursday 1 May        5.00pm – 10.00pm
Friday 2 May             3.00pm – 10.00pm
Saturday 3 May        12.00pm – 10.00pm
Sunday 4 May           12.00pm – 10.00pm

Where is Fan Land happening?

Is Fan Land free to attend?

Fan Land is a free event, with food and beverages available to purchase on the Leisure Deck.  

Is this event family friendly?

Yes, Fan Land is designed for all ages, with family friendly entertainment and a vibrant, safe atmosphere. As this is a licensed event, all persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Can I bring a bag?

Small bags are permitted, but all bags may be subject to security checks upon entry. As this is a licenced event, no BYO is permitted.

Will all Magic round games be shown live on the big screen?

Yes. Every Magic Round match will be broadcast live on Brisbane’s biggest outdoor screen with so you won’t miss a second of the action.

Do you have live performances?

There will be a live DJ, MC hosted half-time entertainment and special guest appearances from NRL players and icons. Please keep an eye on the website for more program details.

Is seating available?

Temporary seating is available within tiered steps at Leisure Deck to ensure great views of the screen from all angles. Arrive early to grab a prime spot.

When will the lighting and special effects works start and end?

Fan Land runs each day until 10pm (Thursday 1 May to Sunday 4 May), with rehearsals on Wednesday 30 April. There will be lighting as well as pyrotechnics onsite.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, the Leisure Deck is fully accessible with elevators to access Level 7 with ramp access, seating options and accessible facilities.

Are there restrooms onsite?

Yes, restroom facilities, including accessible toilets, are available at the Leisure Deck.

Will there be security and first aid onsite?

Yes, security personnel and first aid officers will be present at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Are pets allowed?

Only service animals are permitted within the event space.

What food and beverage will be available?

There will be several food and beverage offerings on the Leisure Deck for attendees to purchase during Fan Land. If you can’t find the flavour you are seeking, there are many restaurants within The Star Brisbane that can satisfy your tastebuds.

How do I pay for food and beverages onsite?

Fan Land will be a cashless event / card only event.

The event is located at Queens Wharf Brisbane. It is located conveniently in the city with public transport within easy access.
