Temporary fencing to be installed along Bicentennial Bikeway for next stage of public realm works

Night works: From the Monday 8 July 2019 until Thursday 18 July 2019, temporary fencing will be installed along the Bicentennial Bikeway from Waterline Park to the Finger Wharves access road.

When:

Night works: Works will occur overnight between 8pm and 4am from Monday 8 July until Thursday 18 July 2019.

Where:

Approximately 340 metres of temporary fencing will be installed along the Bicentennial Bikeway, fixed to the revetment wall and footpath to keep members of the public safe while maritime works, including piling, occur in the Brisbane River.

This work is to construct 6500m2 of new public realm – to be known as The Landing. See below map for details.

What to expect:

Traffic control will be in place to direct cyclists and pedestrians around the work zone, access will be maintained at all times.

Shade-cloth will be placed over the fencing with small sections installed each night.
